Physical Therapist Assistant, Home Health

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being within a home care setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific physical therapy laws and supervise treatment plans set by the Physical Therapist.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, transfers, ADLs, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising PT and healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers within the scope of physical therapy practice.
• Adapt to various home environments, ensuring inclusive care regardless of client background.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current licensure or certification to practice in Oregon.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
• Availability for weekend rotations.
• Preferred: CPR certification and physical ability for patient mobility tasks.
  
  

Compensation & Benefits: The role offers a total cash target pay ranging from $58,241 to $87,361 annually, based on full-time productivity. Compensation includes per visit point pay and hourly rates for certain activities. Benefits encompass comprehensive packages, recognition programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k).
