In this role, you will assist licensed teachers by implementing academic, social, and behavioral support, helping students meet IEPs, and creating a positive learning environment.
Your duties include supporting students with personal care, managing small group and individual activities, and providing crisis support.
Qualified candidates need 72 college credits or a valid paraprofessional certification, proficiency in English, and U.S. work authorization.
Previous experience with children with disabilities or in special education is preferred.
Physical ability to move around the classroom and assist students physically is required.
Additional preferred qualifications include behavioral training, CPR certification, and experience as a PCA or behavior technician.
Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour with weekly pay.
