Seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Parsons, KS.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assessing and addressing the nutritional needs of patients/residents
  • Providing nutritional expertise and education to the healthcare team, patients, and staff
  • Following industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with departments on policies and procedures related to nutrition and dining services
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field, or Master’s degree in Nutrition
  • Passed a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible per Academy guidelines
  • Licensed or certified as per state requirements
  • Knowledge of assessment, care planning, and residents’ rights standards
  • Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics

Preferred: healthcare or long-term care experience.

  • Schedule: 9 hours per week, flexible days
  • Compensation: $33.00 - $36.00/hour based on experience
