- Monitor productivity and participate in budget planning.
- Evaluate new admissions to ensure compliance with policies.
- Control medication administration following established procedures.
- Ensure adequate staffing and resources for departmental needs.
- Participate in hiring, staff allocation, performance management, and staff development.
- Communicate resident clinical updates and handle concerns or complaints.
- Conduct unit rounds and investigate issues, escalating as necessary.
- Gather documentation for regulatory and internal investigations.
- Valid NYS RN License.
- Minimum of two years’ leadership experience in long-term care, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
