- Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and collecting non-invasive specimens.
- Supporting residents with transferring, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises.
- Providing psychosocial support and encouraging participation in wellness and recreational activities.
- Assisting with housekeeping, laundry, and creating a positive dining experience.
- Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Supporting procedures, maintaining infection control policies, and using PPE appropriately.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or enrollment in a training program to obtain certification.
- Ability to complete annual competency testing and continuing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
- Knowledge of infection prevention, safety procedures, and resident privacy.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- For applicable roles, valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving duties.
