Job Responsibilities
- Provide preventive dental hygiene services, including dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and oral health assessments.
- Take and review dental radiographs as permitted by applicable law and office protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health.
- Identify and document oral health concerns and communicate findings to the dentist.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
- Build positive relationships with patients and help create a comfortable, welcoming experience.
- Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to deliver excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Both experienced hygienists and qualified newer graduates are encouraged to apply.
