Duties

- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and appointment specifics.
- Schedule appointments efficiently, reschedule as needed, and manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls promptly, address inquiries clearly, and direct calls to appropriate departments or personnel.
- Maintain accurate patient records by updating electronic health records (EHR) systems with current information.
- Provide support with medical administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care activities and ensure seamless communication.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and communicate health-related information.
