Our busy urgent care clinic in Naperville is looking for a dependable and patient-focused Limited X-Ray Technician to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll perform limited diagnostic imaging and support day-to-day clinical operations, helping ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Our busy urgent care clinic in Naperville is looking for a dependable and patient-focused Limited X-Ray Technician to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll perform limited diagnostic imaging and support day-to-day clinical operations, helping ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Perform limited-scope X-ray exams in accordance with Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety (IDNS) guidelines
- Properly position patients and operate digital radiographic equipment
- Ensure quality imaging and accurate patient identification
- Assist with basic clinical duties (vitals, rooming patients, assisting providers)
- Support front office tasks when needed (scheduling, check-in/out, documentation)
- Follow infection control and radiation safety procedures
- Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and supplies
Requirements:
- Active Illinois Limited Radiographer License (IDNS Limited Permit)
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- 1 year of experience in urgent care, outpatient, or clinical setting preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
