What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at AFC Urgent Care?
Summary: AFC Urgent Care is looking for part and full time X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist to staff our brand new, state of the art urgent care centers in Beverly, Swampscott, Haverhill, North Andover & Methuen, MA. Our ideal candidate has all the qualifications listed below, but that's only part of it.

Responsibilities and Duties
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Perform all diagnostic x-rays
- Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
- Assist in patient care to ensure speedy patient flow and to optimize patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization
- Inventory supplies, replenish supplies when received
- Assist in maintaining equipment
- Ensure cleanliness of patient waiting area and front office area
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers.
- ARRT Certification.
- Current Massachusetts licensure or permit to practice medical imagining.
- Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
- Phlebotomy is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist preferred but not required
- Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
