SUMMARY
AEW is looking for a creative, trend-savvy content editor with a passion for short-form vertical video to join our digital team. This role is at the heart of how AEW shows up on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and beyond — editing content that hooks fans in seconds, goes viral, and grows the AEW fanbase worldwide.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Edit, package, and publish short-form vertical video content daily across AEW’s social platforms.
- Execute day-to-day programming of AEW’s TikTok channel, including captioning talent promos, interviews, and backstage clips.
- Approach every piece with a platform-first mindset – sharp hooks, fast pacing, optimized captions, and eye-catching edits.
- Track performance metrics and take ownership of KPIs tied to views, engagement, and follower growth.
- Stay ahead of social and cultural trends, applying them authentically to AEW storylines and talent moments.
- Collaborate across production, creative, and design to deliver content that’s polished, consistent, and optimized for vertical-first viewing.
- Work flexible hours aligned with AEW’s live TV schedule; travel onsite for select events and quick-turn editing needs.
- Build strong working relationships with AEW talent while capturing and editing their most engaging moments.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required
- 1-3 years of experience editing short-form vertical content for TikTok, Reels, or Shorts — portfolio/reel preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite; shooting skills are a plus.
- Deep knowledge of platform algorithms and proven ability to drive viral performance.
- A balance of creativity and analytics — you know what works and why it works.
- Strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Passion for pro wrestling and understanding of AEW’s voice, fans, and talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Film, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
