The Senior Content Manager, YouTube Content and Distribution is responsible for leading the editorial, creative and strategic development of our YouTube presence across PGA TOUR flagship channels. It is also responsible for growing audience reach, engagement and revenue on the platform while driving innovation in content strategy and platform-native storytelling. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with content, editorial, creative, branded content and analytics teams. This role is part of the PGA TOUR Content’s distribution lane, reporting directly to the Director, Social Content and Distribution. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree required; Journalism, Media or Communications preferred 5-7 years of experience in in content creation, social media management or digital editorial at a sports or media company, publisher, or content agency Proven ability to develop and deliver high-performing content across digital, social and video platforms Strong writing, editing, and content packaging skills, with a clear sense of voice and audience Deep understanding of digital storytelling formats, audience development and platform best practices Experience working with CMS platforms, social scheduling tools, SEO basics, and analytics dashboards Comfortable working independently, balancing multiple priorities and collaborating across departments Thoughtful communicator who can give and receive feedback, and work well with creatives, strategists and editors A passion for YouTube, digital media, pop culture and staying ahead of the digital curve Background in golf preferred; strong interest in golf required Experience supporting branded content or working with advertising/marketing team Exposure to team mentorship, cross-functional leadership or informal coaching of junior staff RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Own and drive content strategy and publishing across all TOUR YouTube channels Lead ideation, production and distribution of social-first video series or initiatives that drive engagement, shares, and audience growth, collaborating closely with producers and editors across Content Plan, create, and publish standout content that meets performance and brand goals Lead YouTube analytics and performance tracking in partnership with the Data Sciences team, identifying key trends, platform shifts and viewer behaviors to optimize future strategy Provide editorial guidance and creative input across the broader content team when needed Contribute to departmental operations, including staffing, budget management/ cost containment and internal communication Execute content on behalf of marketing and/or sales initiatives Occasionally assign or oversee freelance contributors, depending on scope Available to travel for content creation opportunities at key events throughout the season Available during competition hours, which will include nights, weekends and holidays Special projects or other duties as assigned When most people think of the PGA TOUR, they envision famous golfers, exciting tournaments, and the TOUR’s generous support of more than 3,000 charities.
