Title: Material Handler / Forklift Operator
Reports to: Site Operations Manager
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Shift Hours: 5:30am - 2pm
Sign on Bonus: $1000
Summary of Position:
Safely unloading, picking, and loading product for storage or delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Material Handler/ Forklift Operation
- Perform and document daily pre-shift inspections on Material Handling Equipment prior to beginning shift.
- Prioritize Workload
- Work with inventory, and move stock.
- Un-loading of full pallets/units from in-bound truck or rail shipments
- Sortation and bulk stacking of units to storage locations
- Pick customer orders accurately.
- Breakdown freight as required.
- Re banding of pallets / units as required
Customer Service
- Greet and load Will Call customers
Safety
- Ensure cleanliness of work area is maintained
- Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have forklift experience
- Forklift Certification a plus
- Able to work overtime as needed
Language Skills
Ability to clearly and effectively present information and respond to questions form managers, customers, and peers, in English, over telephone and in writing.
Computer Skills
Proficient use of GPS and other routing systems. Smart phone proficiency
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and see. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Position requires extended periods of time sitting. The employee will regularly lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Able to work in extreme weather conditions.
