Aetna Building Solutions is looking for a sales-minded leader to run our Inside Sales amp; Customer Service team across all branch locations. We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds — inside sales, outside sales, or branch/retail management — who know how to manage, mentor, and coach a team of high-performing reps. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the tone for a high performance, customer-first culture while ensuring the team hits sales targets and delivers exceptional service.
Industry experience in building materials distribution is a strong plus, and prior experience with DMSi Agility software is a huge plus. Most importantly, you'll need to be someone who can dig in, learn our systems, and become the go-to subject matter expert for the team.
What You'll Do
- Lead the Inside Sales team to achieve sales and service goals across multiple branches
- Set clear expectations and annual goals aligned with company strategy
- Coach, mentor, and develop a large group of reps, including regular one-on-ones and team huddles
- Partner with Outside Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics to keep everyone aligned around the customer
- Oversee onboarding and training, including product knowledge and CRM/ERP systems
- Build and maintain key customer relationships to support retention and growth
- Use CRM and ERP data to track performance, spot trends, and uncover growth opportunities
- Lead quarterly KPI reviews and partner with the Outside Sales Manager on Territory Growth Plans
Who We're Looking For
- A sales management background — inside sales, outside sales, or branch management experience all welcome
- A hands-on coaching style with a track record of developing teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and lead through influence across locations
- Comfort with CRM/ERP systems; DMSi Agility experience is a significant plus
- Building materials, construction supply, or distribution experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or related field preferred
- 5 years in sales or customer service leadership, including 2 years managing a team
Compensation amp; Benefits Include
- $65,000-$85,000 per year plus incentive earning potential. Compensation is based on job experience, skills, education, training, and more to be determined at time of offer.
