Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Functional Medicine Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in integrative or functional medicine and is skilled—or eager to develop skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a focus on optimizing health, longevity, and overall balance.

This role will be instrumental in developing and delivering individualized wellness plans, including hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and peptide therapy. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a wellness program within a thriving practice with a built-in patient base and strong referral network.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations assessing medical history, lifestyle, and health goals
• Order, interpret, and explain advanced functional and specialty labs (e.g., hormone panels, metabolic testing, micronutrients, gut health)
• Develop customized treatment plans, including:
• Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
• Medical weight loss protocols (GLP-1s such as Semaglutide, Tirzepatide)
• Nutraceutical and supplement recommendations
• Dietary and lifestyle interventions
• Prescribe and manage hormone therapies and weight loss medications per protocol
• Collaborate with aesthetic and clinical teams to integrate hair restoration and wellness services
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and follow-up testing
• Educate patients on preventative health and functional medicine principles
• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations
• Stay current with advancements in functional, regenerative, and aesthetic medicine
• Participate in educational events, workshops, and marketing initiatives to support program growth

Qualifications

• Licensed MD, DO, NP, or PA with active state licensure
• Advanced training or certification in Functional Medicine (IFM, A4M, or similar) preferred
• Experience with HRT, peptide therapy, and integrative wellness strongly desired
• Knowledge of medical weight loss medications (GLP-1s, phentermine, etc.)
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Passion for holistic, patient-centered care and continuous learning
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in growing wellness services
