POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of trucks and general inventory control functions to meet our internal and external customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Stage and verify material for orders, Enter order information into QAD system. Generate packing lists and bills of lading. Coordinate with quality department on timing of shipments.
- Assure that material is adequately packaged and loaded for both domestic and international shipments.
- Load trucks, following company shipping manual, to meet our customer requirements; with the goal of attaining and maintaining a 100% “on-time” delivery rate.
- Receive incoming materials, supplies and returned goods forwarding paperwork to shipping receiving coordinator.
- Assist in unloading bulk trucks.
- FIFO rotation of inventory (first in/first out).
- Organize and monitor inventory at offsite warehouse.
- Monitor levels of production supplies such as pallets and gaylords.
- Transfer raw and finished material as needed between Sheboygan locations.
- Operate lift truck and straight truck.
- Assist with physical inventory as needed.
- Maintain all warehouses in a clean and orderly manner.
- Repackage products as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Experience & Training:
- Good basic math, mechanical aptitude and problems solving skills.
- Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
- Detail oriented
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous shipping/receiving experience desired.
- Forklift experience and basic computer skills required.
- Familiarity with raw materials and finished goods used or produced within the organization.
Must be able to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds. Must be able to walk, stand, & bend in a shipping / receiving setting. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Must follow facilities safety policies. Shipping/Receiving and Office-based.
