Position Overview
We’re looking for an HR Onboarding & Benefits Administrator to support our payroll and HR operations at our corporate office in Zionsville. This entry-level role is responsible for employee onboarding, benefits administration, unemployment claims, and related HR support. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing a career in Human Resources.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including document collection and I-9 verification
- Maintain accurate digital employee records and files
- Support compliance with company policies, labor laws, and benefits regulations
- Assist with HR reports, audits, and general administrative tasks
- Support employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions
- Maintain and update employee benefit information using Employee Navigator
- Support open enrollment activities, including communication and data entry
- Coordinate with insurance carriers and benefit partners as needed
- Assist with unemployment claims processing and documentation
- Partner with the payroll team on employee setup and updates
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous HR experience or internship preferred but not required
- Familiarity with TalentReef and/or Employee Navigator preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
