We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. Duties
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management and customer service.
- Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Manage inventory control and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
- Handle cash management processes, including cash handling and reconciliation.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payment transactions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant’s operations.
- Support shift management by coordinating staff schedules and delegating tasks effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment through team management and development initiatives.
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management or as an assistant manager is preferred.
- Strong background in food service management, with knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or fine dining establishments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and kitchen management practices.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in training & development of staff members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes within a restaurant setting is a plus.
