Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and packaging of various meat products. You will be working in a dynamic environment alongside a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Stand on the production line and assist in the manufacture and packaging of various meats.
• Operate machinery and tools necessary for production.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting products as part of the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and health regulations.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, or assembly.
• Ability to operate machines and use hand tools effectively.
• Attention to detail and quality assurance in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with forklifts is advantageous.
• Capability to work in cold environments, such as coolers and freezers.
• Physical stamina to stand for 8-10 hours.

Work Environment

The role requires working Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 4:30 PM in a cold environment, including cooler and freezer areas. The dress code is suitable for working in these conditions, and all necessary safety equipment is provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Claysville, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
