Engineering Project Management Intern (Freshman/Sophomore)

Are you an engineering student who wants to understand how real-world projects actually come together...from initial concept and customer quote through build and delivery?

AeroSpec is seeking a high-potential Engineering Project Management Intern to work directly with executive leadership and support active client programs. This is not a shadow role—you’ll be contributing to real projects, working alongside engineers and project managers, and gaining firsthand exposure to how complex automation systems are planned and executed.

What You’ll Do

• Support project managers in building and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and tracking tools
• Assist with customer quotations, including scope alignment and technical inputs
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and occasional site visits
• Help organize and maintain project documentation, deliverables, and reporting
• Coordinate across engineering and project teams to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and deliverables
• Contribute to improving project management tools, processes, and workflows
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
• Strong interest in project management, operations, or technical program leadership
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data organization
• Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing settings
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Freshman or Sophomore standing preferred (targeting long-term development)
• Available to work 20 hours/week during the school year and 30 hours/week in the summer
