AeroSpec is seeking a high-potential Engineering Project Management Intern to work directly with executive leadership and support active client programs. This is not a shadow role—you’ll be contributing to real projects, working alongside engineers and project managers, and gaining firsthand exposure to how complex automation systems are planned and executed.
What You’ll Do
- Support project managers in building and maintaining project schedules, timelines, and tracking tools
- Assist with customer quotations, including scope alignment and technical inputs
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and occasional site visits
- Help organize and maintain project documentation, deliverables, and reporting
- Coordinate across engineering and project teams to ensure alignment on scope, timing, and deliverables
- Contribute to improving project management tools, processes, and workflows
- Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar)
- Strong interest in project management, operations, or technical program leadership
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data organization
- Strong communication skills and confidence in client-facing settings
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Freshman or Sophomore standing preferred (targeting long-term development)
- Available to work 20 hours/week during the school year and 30 hours/week in the summer
- Direct exposure to executive leadership and decision-making
- Hands-on experience supporting real customer projects
- Development of skills in quoting, scheduling, and client communication
- A clear path toward full-time roles in project management or engineering
- Work in a fast-paced, hands-on engineering environment
