AeroControlex is seeking an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Machinist to join our team.
In this role, you will take full ownership of setup and production on complex mill/turn machines, producing precision components to tight tolerances.

Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift with consistent overtime opportunities
What You'll Do
- Perform complete setup and operation of multi-axis CNC mill/turn machines, including Okuma Multus and Doosan CNC machines
- Take full ownership of assigned jobs from setup through first-piece approval and production
- Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Establish tooling, fixturing, speeds, feeds, and machine offsets to achieve precision, repeatability, and efficiency
- Inspect complex parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure tight tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make real-time adjustments to programs and setups as needed
- Work closely with the production team to maintain workflow and resolve manufacturing challenges
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- 3–7 years of CNC mill/turn machining experience (Okuma Multus and Doosan preferred)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proven experience performing full CNC mill/turn setups independently from start to finish on complex parts
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to apply it in high-precision machining environments
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings without assistance
- Strong experience optimizing speeds, feeds, tooling, and offsets for quality and efficiency
- CNC programming experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing tight-tolerance, high-quality parts
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of assigned work
