Responsibilities
- Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Support banquet or catering events by serving large groups efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with retail math or basic math is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all applicable laws and regulations.
