Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, coordination, and implementation of logistics and life-cycle management activities for defense systems.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of logistics documentation, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) and logistics support plans.
- Analyze engineering and systems management data to identify sustainment needs and improve system reliability and maintainability.
- Participate in logistics readiness reviews, maintenance planning, and configuration management processes.
- Develop logistics procedures to ensure effective support, provisioning, and sustainment of C4ISR and similar systems.
- Monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, maintenance processes, and technical data accuracy.
- Support data collection and analysis for reliability, availability, and maintainability metrics.
- Coordinate with engineering, supply, and maintenance personnel to align logistics functions with technical and operational requirements.
- Assist in preparing reports, briefings, and presentations related to logistics performance and program supportability.
- Ensure all logistics functions comply with applicable DoD and U.S. Navy policies, standards, and regulations.
- Three (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems.
- Experience in logistics management principles, practices, and processes.
- At least one (1) year of experience supporting C4ISR or similar systems, including: Analyzing engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures.
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 1, or equivalent training and certification.
- Alternatively, four (4) years of direct defense life-cycle logistics experience if certification is not held.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Familiarity with logistics data systems, provisioning processes, and maintenance management tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
