Job Title: Technical Transfer Engineer
Location: Irvine onsite
Contract Length: 12 months with potential for extension
Position Summary
Hands-on engineering support role focused on technology transfer of medical device manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include project execution support, quality issue identification, equipment troubleshooting, and component replacement evaluation. Work priorities and deliverables are expected to shift week to week due to the dynamic nature of tech transfer activities.
Key Responsibilities
Support technology transfer activities between manufacturing sites
Author, review, and remediate equipment validation and qualification documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
Develop and maintain technical documentation supporting transferred processes
Learn and serve as a subject matter resource for transferred manufacturing processes
Provide on-site technical support for equipment and process troubleshooting
Support documentation, logistics, and execution of international transfers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, C#, LabVIEW)
Basic proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo)
