Title:- Production Supervisor/Manufacturing Supervisor

Location:- Irvine, CA

Duration:-36 months contract

TITLE: 2nd Shift Supervisor/Production Supervisor

THIS IS NOT A BUYER/PLANNER ROLE

• Looking for someone that has Production Supervisor experience in manufacturing, ideally in Biomedical industry with a technical degree

• Ideal candidate would have an engineering or some other technical education/background

• Looking for Production Supervisor, lead/manage/oversee production operations.

1. Job description

Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant for 2nd shift operations. Responsible for production operations, maintenance, plant engineering, safety, quality control, scheduling, accounting, and workforce level. Promotes good relations with community, government agencies, and customers. May conduct or participate in labor negotiations and administer wage, salary, and bonus programs in accordance with corporate policies.

• Organize, motivate, and lead in achieving plan attainment while continuously improving the experience for our employees by enhancing safety, quality, compliance, and productivity, and culture. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensures business and attainment needs are met. Monitors daily operations of a production unit and actively assists and provides direction to subordinates as required.

• Maintains a safe work environment.

• Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures that may affect subordinate work units.

• Defines assignments in terms of activities and objectives. Reviews work for accuracy and completeness.

• Ensures compliance to ISO/GMP and other regulatory standards.

• Manages and coordinates small to medium sized projects of various complexity and influence.

• Performs information sharing and basic problem resolution of operational and scheduling issues.

• Interacts internally primarily with subordinates, other supervisors, buyer planners, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, and manufacturing managers.

• External interaction is typically with suppliers, and/or customers at various levels.

2. Must haves

Minimum Education

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 10 yrs; Assoc. 16yrs; M.S. 0 yrs) - the degree is preferred but not required

Work Experience

• 1 year of demonstrated leadership and/or manufacturing experience

3. Work schedule

o 980 Schedule Monday through Friday 3pm to 12:30am (every other Friday off)

o Potentially will be asked to work first shift schedule for first 3 weeks max when training/onboarding (5am-3pm but flexible – start time can be anywhere between 5-7am)
