Job Overview
Our client, an established, regional energy company with a high-growth solar division, is looking to hire an exceptional Solar Sales Manager to lead their residential and commercial sales division in the region. This is a full-time role with our client.
Job Responsibilities
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities in both residential and commercial solar markets.
- Executing sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Conducting and leading customer presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Fostering long-term client relationships and providing exceptional customer service.
- Managing and mentoring and managing residential and commercial sales teams.
- Collaborating with operations and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Staying up to date with solar technology, financing structures, incentive programs, and regulatory changes.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
Successful Candidates Must Have:
- At least 3 years of experience and a track record of success within both residential and commercial solar sales
- A strong understanding of solar operations, permitting, and installation processes
- A NABCEP PV Technical Sales Professional certification (strongly preferred)
- Experience managing or mentoring sales representatives, including setting goals and accountability
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Strong financial and technical acumen related to solar proposals.
- An ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and solar proposal software.
Compensation & Benefits
- This Solar Sales Manager role has a salary of $40,000 to $60,000 per year and on-target earnings of $125,000 to $175,000 per year.
