Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Material Compliance Coordinator

We're seeking a Material Compliance Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing organization in Cary, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build expertise in purchasing, supply chain, and regulatory compliance while working cross-functionally with multiple departments.
This newly created position will serve as the company's primary resource for managing material compliance documentation, supplier certifications, and customer compliance requests. If you enjoy organizing data, communicating with vendors, and improving processes, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Manage and organize material compliance documentation and supplier certifications
- Review Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify suppliers and required documentation
- Contact suppliers to obtain Certificates of Origin and other compliance documents
- Maintain accurate records within ERP systems, spreadsheets, and document management platforms
- Respond to customer and internal requests regarding material compliance
- Support compliance initiatives related to RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, sustainability, and other regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Quality, Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams
- Help develop standardized compliance processes and maintain annual certification updates
- Assist with inventory cycle counting and other administrative projects as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, materials, or administrative support
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems or document management software
- Experience supporting purchasing, supply chain, materials, or quality departments
- Exposure to supplier certifications, Certificates of Origin, RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, or similar documentation
- Experience reviewing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Inventory or cycle counting experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field
