Position Overview:
The Injection Molding Technician will support a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment where products and setups vary regularly. This individual will be responsible for machine setup, operation, process adjustments, troubleshooting, and maintaining quality standards while working closely with a collaborative production team.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Perform machine setups and mold/tool changeovers
• Load raw plastic materials into machine hoppers
• Start and operate injection molding equipment
• Make process adjustments as needed for quality and performance
• Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections
• Identify common defects such as flash, warpage, discoloration, and short shots
• Support material recycling and scrap handling processes
• Assist and collaborate with newer team members as needed

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of injection molding setup and operating experience
• Experience performing mold/tooling changeovers and first-run setups
• Comfortable balancing setup work and machine operation responsibilities
• Experience performing quality inspections and using basic measuring tools
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred:

• Experience with troubleshooting controls or process-related issues
• Experience in high-mix manufacturing environments
• Interest in mentoring or helping develop less experienced team members

Additional Information:

• Occasional overtime available based on production needs
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Candidates must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements
