Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is curently partnered with a steel manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
• Monitor network performance, security, and availability, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Analyze and resolve network, server, and connectivity problems across the organization.
• Maintain and support network security tools including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Assist with administration of Windows Server environments, including virtualization (Hyper-V).
• Create and maintain documentation related to network configurations, inventory, and system changes.
• Provide end-user support, including responding to help desk requests, and performing system upgrades, moves, adds, and changes.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in IT or related field, or 3–5 years of relevant network administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, servers, and connectivity.
• Experience with network security tools (firewalls, antivirus, encryption, intrusion prevention).
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments and virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with working knowledge of Visual Studio and MS SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and interpret technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to support users and collaborate with IT teams.
