A leading manufacturing company in Lebanon, TN is seeking an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead all plant engineering, maintenance, capital project, and reliability initiatives. This position is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, driving continuous improvement efforts, supporting new equipment installations, and developing a world-class maintenance organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, maintenance leadership, reliability, automation, and lean manufacturing principles. This role will play a critical part in supporting plant performance, safety, quality, and productivity objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead all manufacturing, process, controls, and maintenance engineering activities.
- Develop and execute capital improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Support new product launches, equipment installations, and facility expansions.
- Drive process improvements to improve throughput, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to achieve plant objectives.
- Manage engineering budgets, project timelines, and contractor activities.
Maintenance & Reliability
- Lead all preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Establish reliability-centered maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime.
- Develop maintenance KPIs including OEE, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Ensure effective utilization of CMMS systems and maintenance planning processes.
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
- Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions to eliminate recurring equipment failures.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and maintenance efficiency.
- Support plant cost reduction and operational excellence initiatives.
- Champion a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
