Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical installation activities for new equipment, production lines, and facility upgrades
- Supervise and provide direction to electricians, contractors, and technical staff on-site
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and layout drawings to ensure accurate installation
- Plan and prioritize daily/weekly work to meet project timelines and production goals
- Support equipment commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including OSHA and NFPA regulations
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
- Manage contractors and ensure work is completed to company standards and specifications
- Track project progress and provide updates to leadership on timelines, risks, and milestones
- Assist in developing standard work procedures and documentation for installed systems
Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation within manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments
- Prior experience leading teams or supervising electrical personnel
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings
- Experience with equipment startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, and general industrial safety standards
