Position Summary
The Managing Director will lead and grow a dedicated client practice within Aegis Trust Company. This role provides significant autonomy over client relationships, business development, and practice strategy, while benefiting from the firm’s trust capabilities and operational infrastructure.
A key advantage of this platform is the ability to partner closely with an established team of CPAs, CFAs, and other finance and legal professionals, enabling the delivery of highly customized, sophisticated solutions to clients without needing to build those capabilities independently.
The successful candidate will bring an established book of recurring revenue that is transferable, and a desire to scale it meaningfully in a more entrepreneurial, team-supported environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead advisor and relationship manager for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Lead and expand a dedicated book of business within the Aegis platform
- Deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment management, trust services, estate planning coordination, and financial planning
- Collaborate with in-house CPAs, CFAs, attorneys, and other specialists to provide integrated, tax-aware, and investment-driven strategies
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand client relationships and assets under management
- Originate new business through personal networks, referrals, and professional centers of influence
- Maintain a fiduciary, client-first approach aligned with the firm’s standards
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in wealth management, private banking, or advisory roles
- Currently performing at a Senior Vice President (or equivalent) level
- Demonstrated success managing and growing high-net-worth client relationships
- Existing book of recurring revenue required
- Strong knowledge of investments, trust structures, estate planning, and financial planning
- Proven business development capabilities and entrepreneurial mindset
- Professional designations (CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or similar) preferred
