Aegis is partnering with our client to add an Industrial Maintenance Technologist who thrives on diagnosing tough issues and restoring uptime. Picture your day: you start with scheduled PMs in the CMMS, get a call about a line stoppage triggered by a stubborn sensor, pull the wiring diagram, trace the circuit, and have production moving again. Later, you handle a hydraulic leak, verify pneumatic actuation, document your repair and parts usage, and send a clear summary email. It’s fast, hands-on, and deeply satisfying for someone who loves electromechanical systems.
What you’ll tackle- Diagnose and repair production equipment across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical domains.
- Use wiring diagrams and blueprints to troubleshoot breakdowns and guide safe, efficient repairs.
- Address issues with switches, sensors, and related electromechanical components.
- Execute and improve preventive maintenance plans using a CMMS.
- Follow work instructions; communicate clearly with managers and teammates.
- Track work performed, parts used, and corrective actions using email, Excel, Word, or equivalent tools.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years in a maintenance role.
- Manufacturing background; heavier or similar industrial environments are ideal.
- Hands-on equipment repair experience.
- Experience repairing electromechanical systems, including switches and sensors.
- Ability to interpret wiring diagrams to resolve equipment breakdowns.
- Broad exposure to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Comfort reading blueprints and work instructions; able to comprehend complex directions and internal communications.
- Preventive maintenance and planning experience using a CMMS.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, or equivalent.
- Strong email proficiency; track and document issues and resolutions clearly.
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
- Exposure to PLCs/automation.
- Coursework toward Journeyman maintenance mechanic technology.
Salary : $35 - $42
