Overview
We are currently partnered with a major manufacturing company in the Southport, IN area that's seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and knowledge.
Direct-hire/Full-time
**Hours: **1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Install and maintain electrical systems, including 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair tasks as needed.
- Work with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and servo motors to enhance operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
- Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and servo motors.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in maintenance or electrical fields is a plus.
