Join our Akron, OH team on 2nd/3rd shift and convert complex prints into flawless reality. In this role, you’ll run multiaxis mill/turn equipment to produce high‑precision medical instruments and implants. Your craftsmanship, documentation discipline, and inspection rigor ensure every part is surgery‑ready.
Your impact- Translate advanced drawings and GD&T callouts into stable, repeatable mill‑turn processes.
- Independently operate CNC mill/turn machines from setup through production runs.
- Complete setups, perform tool changes and size adjustments, and configure tooling for all machines in your assigned zone.
- Validate first articles and record results in the First Piece Log before moving to production.
- Deburr parts thoroughly and verify features using precision hand metrology and other inspection tools.
- Maintain equipment health with daily preventive maintenance you carry out yourself.
- Document each step accurately via job travelers, I.P. sheets, and associated records.
- Minimum 2 years operating CNC machinery with demonstrated setup experience.
- Expert blueprint literacy and advanced GD&T knowledge.
