Position:** Engineering Manager**
Role/ Responsibilities:
1.) Provide leadership, evaluate performance and identify training needs for subordinates.
2.) Direct and prioritize work load for Design Engineers.
3.) Utilize Customer supplied product data, and datum schemes (GD&T) along with the customer specific standards.
4.) Provide Engineering support during job launch activities.
5.) Create and maintain incoming data electronic file folder that contains the customer’s incoming data configuration.
6.) Assist in design and development planning throughout the job.
7.) Create and maintain outgoing data electronic file folder that contains the specific customer outgoing data configurations.
8.) Design product per the Customer specifications.
9.) Electronically Design using CAD software.
10.) Obtain design approvals through various design stages and meet design deliverables based on program schedule.
11.) Supply the Machining dept., Laser dept. Press Dept. and Fabrication dept. with electronic or hard copy files to perform the operations needed to manufacture the product.
12.) Update all engineering changes to the design as they occur.
13.) Provide inspection files from the customer supplied product data for the verification to the final design.
14.) Assist in design and development review.
15.) Resolve issues and provide solutions for any CAD issues.
16.) Enforce the quality systems and its processes.
