What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Service Technician / Outdoor Labor — Will Train position at Aegean Pool and Spa Maintenance?
Want steady outdoor work without a boss looking over your shoulder? Aegean Pool and Spa needs a self-motivated route technician to run an established pool cleaning route — about 40 stops per week over 3–4 days, Columbia, TN up to the south edge of Nashville (Spring Hill, Thompson's Station, Franklin, Brentwood). No pool experience required — we train the right person.
Pay: $25–$35 per pool, based on experience. At ~40 pools per week, that's roughly $1,000–$1,400 per week as a 1099 independent contractor. Pay grows as you learn — senior techs earn more per pool and can pick up repair work.
You're a fit if you:
- Are handy — comfortable with tools and basic mechanical repairs
- Have some pool familiarity (even just maintaining your own)
- Show up reliably and work well independently
- Have a reliable vehicle with a trailer hitch (secures the provided commercial-grade pool vacuum) and a valid driver's license
Also required: Consent to a background check and driving record (MVR) check. Based in or near Columbia/Maury County preferred.
