What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer position at AEC Talent Acquisition?
Our client is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our engineering services in our water/wastewater market segment in Marietta, Georgia.
Our client specializes in water treatment, wastewater treatment, water & wastewater conveyance, stormwater and infrastructure pump stations. Work elements include water storage, pumping and piping systems, water/wastewater treatment processes, drainage systems, hydraulic modelling, and process modelling. They work in various markets, which include Commercial, Industrial, Transportation, Education, Federal, State, and Local Government infrastructure.
Duties
- Manage project design, including technical quality, people, process, cost, and schedule.
- Supervise and/or prepare design documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Detailed design engineering and QA/QC checks.
- Site investigations and construction administration.
- Identify and manage client deliverables and expectations.
- Permitting and coordination with federal, state, and local municipalities.
- Communicate with a high level of professionalism with clients, sub-consultants, and office staff.
- Function as an account manager for strategic accounts within the business unit and as a firm point of contact for other clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university; a master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience or managing design efforts
- PE Required. LEED Certification is a plus.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and process modelling.
