We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Designer / Senior CAD Technician to join our Maitland, Florida office. This position supports our growing project workload and offers the close collaboration of a medium-sized office, paired with the resources, stability, and benefits of a larger firm.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on unique and challenging land development projects, serve as a key contributor or team lead, and collaborate with multiple development disciplines on larger mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform design and drafting for site civil engineering plans related to subdivision, industrial, and commercial projects
- Design and analyze engineering systems related to land development and utility infrastructure
- Prepare and deliver engineering calculations for:
- Site grading
- Stormwater management systems
- Water and wastewater utilities
- Roadway design
- Translate calculations and designs into construction drawing plans
- Maintain client communications and assist in building strong client relationships
- Gain experience applicable toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, if applicable
Qualifications
- Required understanding of land development planning
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for civil design
- Civil 3D experience preferred
- Working knowledge of stormwater analysis and design is a strong asset
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in a project engineering or land development environment
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships
