Representing a leader in the Construction Industry, we are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and dependable Full-Time Office Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a key position within our company and requires someone who can work independently while managing all aspects of day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.Construction industry experience is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities:
- Full-charge bookkeeping
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Payroll processing
- Certified Payroll reporting
- QuickBooks management and reconciliation
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Job costing and project cost tracking
- Union reporting and prevailing wage documentation
- Vendor and subcontractor management
- Customer invoicing and collections
- Preparation of financial reports
- Filing, recordkeeping, and general office administration
- Assist management with financial reporting and special projects
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Construction accounting experience is required
- Extensive QuickBooks knowledge
- Strong understanding of payroll and certified payroll
- Experience with AIA billing and job costing preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
