As an Entry-Level Sales Representative, you will be handling our Verizon FiOS outreach, connecting communities with the gold standard in home internet. The Entry-Level Sales Representative will take ownership of their growth by managing customer interactions from initial contact to close, explaining the tangible advantages of symmetrical upload and download speeds that only a true fiber connection like FiOS can provide.
Key Responsibilities of the Entry-Level Sales Representative
- Run outreach campaigns to promote Verizon FiOS and educate customers on fiber internet, TV, and phone services available in their area.
- Recommend FiOS packages tailored to customer needs, usage habits, and budget, ensuring service compatibility and satisfaction.
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation to activation, providing clear guidance and timely follow-up throughout.
- Update records with account details, service milestones, and customer interactions to support tracking and retention.
- Review conversion data, feedback, and activation trends to adjust outreach strategies and improve territory performance.
- Work with internal teams to resolve service issues, streamline onboarding, and support expansion efforts in assigned areas.
Minimum Qualifications of the Entry-Level Sales Representative
- High school diploma or GED required; coursework in business, marketing, or communications preferred.
- Experience in customer-facing roles, such as retail, outreach, or sales—ideally within telecom, utilities, or subscription-based services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain service offerings clearly and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Proficient in CRM systems and digital workflow tools, with a proven ability to manage account data, track service requests, and coordinate campaign tasks accurately.
- Highly organized and adaptable, capable of managing multiple priorities, service timelines, and team activities with consistency and precision.
