Manager, Pricing and Planning
Overview:
The Manager, Pricing and Planning role will work in collaboration with the sales and sales marketing teams to deliver media plans and materials that provide strategic solutions for ADWEEK’s network of clients. This position will take ownership of ADWEEK inventory and marketing collateral that effectively communicate ADWEEK’s value proposition. This individual should show strong thinking to develop and manage advertising campaigns across ADWEEK channels across the sales cycle to reach client goals and maximize effectiveness. This role will report to (and work closely with) the Director, Sales Marketing and be a partner to sales, sales marketing and other internal teams.
This is a hybrid role and will be based in ADWEEK’s NYC office three (3) days a week.
Responsibilities:
• Strategize and build media plans in coordination with proactive and reactive sales proposals
and responses that effectively communicate partnership opportunities, brand value, and key
selling points
• Support media strategy development through inventory analysis and channel management that effectively communicate available opportunities across digital media, branded/editorial
content and event activations
• Formulate comprehensive media plans that outline the optimal media mix, campaign timelines,
accurate inventory and budget to achieve client objectives and KPIs
• Work closely with the sales and sales marketing team to identify and tailor partnership
opportunities based on client goals and objectives
• Collaborate with sales, product, editorial, events, and client services teams to ensure the
success of sales marketing initiatives
• Leverage current inventory-tracking processes during our transition to automation and help
help shape the evolution of ad operations and campaign management—partnering with future
in-house teams to enhance forecasting, planning, performance, and product innovation.
• Eager to jump in wherever needed from organizing client deliverables to supporting
presentations and cross-channel coordination
Qualifications:
• 3-year degree required; marketing or business degree preferred
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales marketing in the marketing/advertising industry
• Experience in media or marketing experience at a media company with an emphasis on
marketing solutions, partnerships, and strategy preferred
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (and productively) in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in building media plans and sales collateral that align with business goals
• High attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
keep multiple media channels organized
• Capacity to manage various projects that are well-organized and executed on time
• Solid time management skills, a deep enthusiasm for customer service, and a willingness to
learn and excel
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude
• Google Workspace (Google Slides, Doc & Sheets), Salesforce, Iterable, Canva

Salary : $65,000 - $78,000
