Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a senior associate to its Emerging Companies & Venture Capital group. Direct access to founders, boards, and top venture funds. Full lifecycle exposure from first check to exit.
Role Summary
• Run venture financings, including SAFEs and preferred stock rounds.
• Handle corporate governance and general corporate work for high-growth companies.
• Advise on formation, growth, secondaries, and exits.
• Represent both company and investor clients.
• Sector mix includes AI and machine learning, digital health, defense tech, life sciences, gaming, and fintech.
Candidate Profile
• 6–8 years of ECVC or private company transactional experience.
• Proven deal management with direct client contact at the executive and board level.
• Comfortable toggling between early-stage company needs and investor priorities.
• Strong drafting, negotiating, and cap table fluency.
