Advocate Program, Inc. is a multi-faceted community agency whose missions is to facilitate social change and enhance public safety through leadership, research, education, supervision, and services, utilizing best and evidence-based practices.
The Advocate Program, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit, 501 c (3) justice agency that offers probation, diversion, community service, DUI and traffic programs, domestic violence programs, substance abuse and mental health evaluations and treatment to court-ordered individuals. It has expanded to work with juveniles and families in the juvenile justice field, families impacted by family conflict and violence, and homeless veterans and their families
Responsibilities:
- Screen incoming clients to determine their needs.
- Perform data entry for all new intakes into the system.
- Prepare and upload documentation into client management system and into client SharePoint file.
- Receive and prepare payments.
- Assemble classroom area.
- Enroll and schedule clients for all DUI School functions.
- Retrieve MVR (driver history, county arrest)
- Post class attendance as required.
- Check clients for priors.
- Answer phones and route calls appropriately.
- Score all DRI tests records as needed.
- Directly observe and collect random drug testing.
- Balance daily payments and prepare deposit slips when needed.
- Print DUI School/DWLS Program Certificates to all applicable clients.
- Assist with coverage all other Operations position at all locations.
- Open and close the location, including closing all entrances, gates, elevator access, and setting alarms.
- Miscellaneous duties as determined by Community Corrections Program Manager & DUI Program Manager.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Computer skills, customer service experience and/or cashier experience a plus. Must possess excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
