What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse Outpatient Infusion Registry position at Advocate Aurora?
Where You Will Work:
Our Parkridge Infusion Center has 15 Infusion bays having a department breakdown of infusion, oncology and non-oncology research and care. The culture is dynamic and has a variety of acuity, injections and chemo. Outpatient CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-Cells) Therapy treatment.
We’re Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Teamwork, having an emphasis on patients receiving high quality care. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration
Chemo certification is preferred at time of hire but required to obtain within 8 weeks of hire.
ONS chemo/immunotherapy training to be completed within 8 weeks of hire.
What You’ll Do:
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
