What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residency Coordinator - Anesthesiology position at Advocate Aurora Health?
This position will partner closely with departmental leadership, faculty, residents, and Medical Education Operations to ensure successful program implementation and continued compliance with ACGME standards. The Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative support for all aspects of the residency program, helping establish the infrastructure necessary for the successful launch and long-term growth of the Anesthesiology Residency Program.
Essential Functions
- Assists with the design and development of recruitment material.
- Assists Leadership with administrative duties.
- Possesses an understanding of accreditation and hospital administration process.
Physical Requirements
Works occurs in an office environment. Work requires frequent sitting. Work requires stretching, walking and bending.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of medical terminology and related experience with graduate medical education (GME) required. 2 years experience in GME with knowledge of National Resident Mapping Program and Electronic Residency Application Service programs preferred.
