Financial Specialist Fond du Lac ADVOCAP\'s Shared Services Department
is accepting applications for a Financial Specialist! This position will
process accounts payable, provide support for accounts receivable and
payroll processes. This position will also maintain adequate financial
files. Responsibilities Include: Match vendor invoice with Agency
purchase orders following the proper levels of authorization. Verify the
proper use of accounting codes on invoices. Enter invoices into the
accounting system and maintain data files. Prepare accounts payable
checks for signature by authorized check signers. Process signed checks
for mailing and filing. Maintain A/P filing by check number and prepare
1099 forms. Process and verify FGP bi-weekly payroll. Check entry and
coding of time sheet data for accuracy, errors and timeliness. Review
and processing of mileage/expense reimbursements. Maintain and organize
all files for employee payroll information Process 401k withholding and
quarterly sick annuity payments Be primary point of contact for
payroll-related questions and issues Maintain and monitor cash logs and
register for agency activity and cash on hand. Enter cash deposits into
the accounting system. Maintain various spreadsheet files to assist
staff as needed. Collect and maintain W-9 forms, MBE/WBE forms and
information. Assist with audits and monitoring. Other duties as assigned
by Director \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Job
Requirements: An associate degree from a 2-year college/tech school
and/or two to three years of previous work experience; or equivalent
combination of education and experience is preferred to meet job
standards AP/AR/Payroll or similar financial role experience is
preferred Acceptable drug screen and comprehensive background checks
required Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and data entry skills
are essential Reliable attendance and a professional work ethic Maintain
highest level of confidentiality with information obtained Possess an
understanding of poverty and the ability to be non-judgmental with those
