Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our talented team on a part-time and full-time basis. As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, as well as ensuring proper food handling and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation
• Follow food storage procedures
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents and coworkers
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen
• Certificate or associate degree from a community college in culinary arts, cooking
• Food handling certificate from your state and knowledge of geriatric diets
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
