Responsibilities:
- Prepares private pay and patient liability billing
- Processes accounts receivable and payable, including Medicare and Medicaid claims
- Manages payroll, including preparation of payroll records and compliance with HR regulations
- Oversees daily census and reconciliation functions
- Performs routine collection calls and resolves billing issues
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of all financial transactions
- Processes and tracks accounts payable, including petty cash and vendor payments
- Audits and reconciles financial records and accounts
- Assists with HR functions, including benefits administration and compliance with HR regulations
- Implements new changes in financial processing and HR regulations
- Performs additional duties as assigned
- 2-3 years of experience assisting or managing the Business Office of a healthcare facility (SNF preferred)
- 2 years of experience working in a Business Office of a healthcare facility
- Preferred experience with Point Click Care Software
- Candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent computer skills
