The role you’ll contribute:
The Director of Radiology Operations is responsible for the overall operational success of assigned medical practices. This position provides strategic leadership and direction, coordinating all practice activities except those directly involving professional medical judgment. This role works in collaboration with corporate support departments to meet the needs of the practices and maintain efficient operations. In addition, this position requires a high degree of independence, initiative, judgment, and follow-through on sensitive and complex issues. This role ensures the implementation and adherence to established policies and procedures.

- Knowledge in coding, billing, and reimbursement
- Skill in developing and maintaining effective relationships with medical and administrative staff, patients, and the community
- Knowledge of policies and procedures of various physician specialty practices sufficient to direct operations and to provide effective patient care
- Knowledge of physician professional fee billing practices and principles
- Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Skill in using computer software to include word processing, spreadsheets, database, and general accounting
- Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority over assigned work function
- Ability to apply sound management practices and decision analysis in the implementation of financial and operational procedures
- Must understand fiscal, programmatic, administrative, billing, and other regulations of health care settings
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare or related field Required
- 5 experience in a healthcare leadership role Required
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the stated degree requirement:- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 7 years of experience OR High School Grad or Equivalent and 9 years of experience.
- Experience in medical records, coding and reimbursement [Preferred]
- Experience in Physician Practice management, managing multiple practices and physician start-ups [Preferred]
- Experience with Hospital operations [Preferred]
Pay: $96,283.00 - $179,046.00 per year
