Job Description:

Schedule - 7p-7a with rotating weekends

• Demonstrates competency in EKGs, cardiac monitoring, and BLS protocols. Monitors cardiac/telemetry status and vital functions of all patients.
• Performs as a Unit Liaison, including physician communication, maintaining electronic logs, EMS radio support, and coordinating patient transports.
• Adheres to infection control policies and protocols to protect patients and employees.
• Other duties as assigned. Uses and maintains emergency equipment proficiently. Documents treatment and administered care in the electronic medical record according to established policies and procedures.
• Assists with replenishing code cart supplies and other essential equipment. Assists the charge nurse and/or primary nurse with patient care throughout the department as assigned.

High School Grad or Equiv (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Emergency Medical Tech Cert (EMT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$15.16 - $24.26
